Are you Running a Learning Organization?

January 25, 2019 Karl Bimshas

No matter the size of your organization, if you want to become more efficient, increase productivity, increase profit, and grow client satisfaction, there is no better way than building a workplace environment geared toward continuous learning.

Creating a place where insights and creativity can flourish only happens when everyone agrees to the following guidelines;

  1. Decide to learn.
  2. Learn with others.
  3. Expect to make mistakes.
  4. Find the patterns.

Designing learning opportunities for your organization is easier when everyone has a commitment to development. Four simple questions can help you prepare experiences that are effective, relevant, and fun.

  1. Who are the learners?
  2. What are we learning about?
  3. How will we engage with the content, and with each other?
  4. How will we know that we know?

Review the eight learning outcomes below and determine which ones you have already accomplished, and which ones you want to work on this year.

Learning Outcomes:HaveWant
Understand the relationship between learning and the bottom line.❒❒
Encourage intelligent risk-taking.❒❒
Everyone helps manage the business.❒❒
Communicate clearly and effectively.❒❒
Amaze your clients.❒❒
Create a competitive advantage jointly.❒❒
See contributions to the bigger picture.❒❒
Measure change and learning.❒❒

Karl Bimshas Consulting helps busy professionals achieve and strengthen these outcomes. Got something you want to work on? Let’s start a conversation; it’s easy.
