Approximately every week you will receive an email with a leadership question and a link to record your answer.
What’s the link?
We use a service called, AnswerStage, a very helpful app to collect your responses.
By clicking the link, or entering a QCode created by AnswerStage, that question is loaded into your app. If for any reason you don’t see a question loaded, click on the email link again or manually enter the QCode displayed with the question.
What do I do?
To record an answer or response, click on the movie camera icon to launch the camera on your phone.
Note, if this is your first time loading the app, you’ll need to grant permission to use your camera and microphone so your sound can be captured and saved.
When you are ready to record, press Start.
AnswerStage will read your question to you and begin a countdown. When the countdown is complete, the recording will begin and you simply answer the question.
When you are finished with your answer, press Stop.
You can review your recorded answer and decide if you want to save it. If you do, press Save. Otherwise, press the Re-Do button to re-record your answer.
Note that you have the option to save your answer video to the photo album on your phone. Saving it to your phone helps the app respond faster especially with slower speed connections.
AnswerStage will optimize and compress your video, and then upload it to the cloud. You can see these steps happening by watching the progress bars.
